This Parvati Laxmi Mahila Mahavidyalaya, located in the headquarter of Jhanjharpur subdivision on the frontal of Mithila, is the only institution in the field of female higher education, full of natural and rich cultural environment. This college was established with the objective of providing opportunities for higher education to women even in remote areas. To accomplish that, the clean educational environment provided by the qualified and experienced professors here has easily attracted and reassured the girl students of this area and their parents. The indomitable enthusiasm among the girls seeking admission in various subjects at the undergraduate level in the Faculty of Arts is a beautiful example of this. Committed to decency, safety and discipline, the students of this college have been continuously marching on the ladder of success.
